A BIT ABOUT CHIPPY

This is Chippy, an unbacked welsh pony standing at around 12hh. He is 6 years old and is ready to be broken in and backed for the first time. I have been asked to train him, back him and break him in. I am looking forward to this new adventure and will be posting updates as and when they happen.

First sit

This was my first time sitting on Chippy and his first time going around with someone on him. It was very successful and he was a very good boy. He has learnt forwards aids (by putting your hands forward) and stop aids (a gentle pull on the reins).
