BREAKING INÂ HONEY
This is 8 year old Honey, a 12hh pony that Beatrice started breaking in and then training around November 2020. She was broken in late, at 6 years old when Beatrice first got on her and started Honey’s journey to becoming a horse that young riders can have their first canter on.
HOW IT STARTED
Beatrice first got on Honey around November 2020. They started learning to canter almost immediately, with a lesson every Wednesday that they still do together every week. Honey had very quick progress and developed towards the point she is at today.
SHOWING
Before she was first ridden, Honey did a large amount of in-hand showing. Her first ridden show on the 10th of July 2021. As shown in the photo above, she won a large amount of rosettes and even reserve champion over the in-hand and ridden classes.
